Digital Portfolios

The capstone requirement of the Peaceworker Program is for fellows to create a digital portfolio that reflects their growth and learning over the course of the two-year program. The portfolio demonstrates integrative thinking by connecting the three components of the Peaceworker experience: Service Placement, Graduate Studies, and Ethical Reflections. The portfolios creatively and succinctly highlight fellows’ development in academic knowledge, professional skills, community engagement, understanding of diverse contexts, and awareness of complex social issues. Fellows develop their portfolios in a series of workshops designed to help them clarify their vision, and they share their completed portfolios with their peers in the weeks leading up to graduation. Their portfolios demonstrate deep engagement with their fellow Peaceworkers, their academic programs, and the communities in which they work and serve; they are as diverse and creative as the fellows themselves!
